Hörluchs® is an official technical supplier of professional cycling team Lidl-Trek. The team competes at the highest level of international road cycling, the UCI WorldTeams. Only a limited number of teams worldwide are part of this top tier, including those racing in the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a España.
Lidl-Trek comprises around 65 athletes across the men’s, women’s and development teams. The roster includes internationally renowned riders such as Mads Pedersen, Jonathan Milan and Giulio Ciccone, who regularly contend for stage wins and podium finishes at the world’s most prestigious cycling events.
As official supplier, Hörluchs® supports the team with custom-made solutions for communication and recovery. During the recent winter training camp in Spain, the Hörluchs® team was on site to take ear impressions directly from the riders.
Based on these impressions, Hörluchs® manufactures precisely fitting earmolds that ensure a secure and comfortable fit for communication systems during training and racing. In addition, individually fitted sleep protection solutions are provided to support the athletes’ recovery and rest while traveling.
Reliable communication is particularly critical in professional cycling. Radio instructions must remain clearly intelligible at high speeds, in wind and during constant movement. Custom-made earmolds provide stability and wearing comfort, allowing riders to stay focused on the race.
