We are Team Hörluchs® – “Never Stop Moving”: Friedrich Hager, Horst Luckey, Roland Fuchs and Paul Thelen. We are the first 80+Team in the history of the Race Across America (RAAM) since the premiere in 1982 – and we know what we are talking about.
With over 80 years we want to show that
- good hearing contributes significantly to an active lifestyle
- top athletic performances are not an impossibility
- a positive mindset and joie de vivre form the basis of any success
- Goals in old age can be more than walking to the bakery in the morning
- we can complete the route faster than the official time limit of 9 days
- it does not work without support and a good team
