On February 12, 2024, Dr. Wilfried Racke, project manager of “Hilfe für Kleine Ohren” at the German Lions Foundation, visited Hörluchs® in Hersbruck. There, Thomas Meyer, Managing Director of Hörluchs®, and Hubert Schwarz from the Hubert & Renate Schwarz Foundation personally handed over the donation cheque for 4.000,00 € for the aid project “Centre d’Éducation et de Réadaptation à Base Communautaire” (CERBC) in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The donation will be used to construct a building at CERBC for the first otoplastics laboratory in the Democratic Republic of Congo and to procure the necessary technical equipment and consumables. We are convinced that this generous donation will make a significant contribution to improving the quality of life of many people in the Congo.
